Pandemic times severely limited my plans for painting people. So I painted myself.

  • Three portraits of the same person painted in different limited palettes. The front center one is a warmer colour palette and looking straight at the viewer with a direct gaze. The two at the back each have a different cooler colour set.

    An Experiment in Three Moods

  • A diptych self-portrait of before and after transitioning and top surgery. The Before has breasts and partially grown out grey hair. The After has top surgery scars, a beard and long blue and pink hair.
